After building several successful enterprises around the world, Burns' global travels exposed him to luxury accommodations worldwide—from $30 to $30,000 per night. He made a striking observation: despite vast price differences, the fundamental concept of hospitality spaces remained stagnant and emotionally disconnected.

HOTELA emerges from this insight—not merely as a collection of beautiful properties, but as Burns' answer to a question that has driven him since childhood: How can a space transform not just how we live, but who we become?
